Braylon Williams, a 6-foot-6, 230-pound defensive end from Kilgore (Texas) Junior College, committed to Troy this weekend after his official visit.
Williams confirmed it through a text ("I did" is what he said). Once I can get him on the phone and update with quotes, I'll add them, but easier said than done at the moment.
Williams had 45 tackles, 8 for loss, four sacks, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.
Williams is originally from Tyler, Texas. He was recruited to Troy by defensive coordinator Jeremy Rowell and should be in Troy this summer.
This is a big get for Troy, which doesn't have much proven depth at defensive end coming back.
HERE is Williams' rivals.com profile out of high school. If he's a 2009 graduate, that means he has two years left to play two at Troy.
