CBSSports, namely college football reporter Brett McMurphy, has better sources on the college football realignment landscape than anyone. He lists Charlotte and Texas San-Antonio as two leading candidates to join the Sun Belt.

Later in the story, it mentions that three schools - North Texas, Florida Atlantic and Florida International - has been in contact or contacted the powers-that-be in the CUSA/MWC alliance.
