Trojans are back at home tonight, this time against Alabama. Troy is 9-9, Alabama is 8-12, so it's a battle between two teams who are underachieving a bit. I'd say Troy's prospects are a bit better in turning things around, but you never really know what can happen in a midweek game.
I wrote THIS STORY in today's paper on sophomore 3B/DH Danny Collins, who actually started his career at Alabama. We didn't talk much about that, and I ended up writing more on how he recently got contacts and it's helped his vision at the plate.
Junior RHP Ryan Brady gets his first start of the season tonight. Trojans are looking for consistency in the back end of its rotation and Brady is the latest pitcher to get a turn.
