Not a good Sunday for the diamond Trojans. Troy baseball continues to struggle on the road in Sun Belt play, dropping a 7-3 decision at UALR. Troy is now 2-4 in Sun Belt play, losing series at South Alabama and UALR. The offense just isn't where coaches thought it would be, and the pitching has been good at times, but inconsistent.

Troy softball gave No. 8 UL-Lafayette its first loss of the season on Saturday with a 9-4 win in the doubleheader, but ULL responded with wins in the final two games of the series. Troy went 2-2 this week, but all four games were against ranked teams, ULL and No. 21 Auburn, and Troy beat Auburn on Wednesday.
