Troy went on the road to No. 30 Southern Miss and the Trojan pitching staff made it look easy. Tyler Ray (2-0) pitched seven scoreless innings and Nate Hill pitched the final two for the save.
Not much offense for Troy, but it wasn't a game where you expected a lot of offense. Troy's going to win a lot of these Friday games with Ray starting and a rested Hill/Tyson Workman at the back end.

Troy closes out the regular season today at Florida Atlantic. Should be a tough game, even with FAU really struggling. I do think Troy is catching FAU at a good time because the Trojans are starting to play well and FAU is off, but the Owls can get hot and turn a big deficit into a blowout, as we saw back in January.
