Got a chance to look at the recap from Troy's 13-3 win at Western Kentucky after getting back from covering the first round of the AHSAA baseball playoffs (Wicksburg 2-0 and 10-3 over Providence Christian is where I was).

Some key notes
*** Tyler Ray got a win, his first since Week 2. He needs four wins over the final four regular season weeks to TIE the Troy and Sun Belt career records. He needs five wins to break those records. The fifth start would be in the Sun Belt Tournament, assuming Troy makes it and I think they will. Of course, Troy could give Ray a 2-inning start against Alabama A&M next week and designate it a "staff" game, pitching several other guys as well, and he could get a win.
*** Danny Collins hit his team-best 8th home run of the season.
*** Logan Pierce went 3-for-4 with three doubles.
*** Brandon Brown, Troy's catcher, stole his fifth base of the season.
*** Troy has now beaten Western Kentucky seven straight times.
