If you're inclined to read the game story from the 7-0 loss to Auburn, it's HERE.
It was pretty much the opposite if Troy's 9-0 win over Alabama a few weeks back. Troy hosts Sun Belt No. 1 FAU this weekend in a three game set after hosting Alabama A&M Wednesday at 6.
That's also the last time Troy and Auburn play each other in baseball until who knows when. Auburn isn't playing South Alabama, and hasn't been playing UAB for a few years, and I'd venture a strong guess they're not playing Jacksonville State from here on as the Tigers will focus more on easy wins during the midweek while relying on the SEC's conference RPI to help its regional case.
For a long time, Alabama wouldn't put Troy on its baseball schedule but that is no longer the case. Auburn's midweek schedule this year included two games against Alcorn State, two games against Alabama State and one against Alabama A&M.
