Troy lost a 6-5 10-inning game at Western Kentucky on Sunday to lose that series. Troy opened up the series with a dominating 13-3 win, but dropped the last 2 games.
Trojans are now 17-22, but just 6-12 in the Sun Belt. That's good for last place out of 10 teams, and only the top 8 qualify for the conference tournament.
Reading our good friend Chad Bishop's blog, since he covers the Hilltoppers, the SBC standings are as follows: Note that Troy's final four series are home vs. FAU, at ULL, home vs. ULM and home vs. South Alabama. So, that's two series against teams that are just a game ahead of Troy in the standings.
Florida Atlantic (13-3)
Arkansas State (10-6)
Florida International (10-8)
Middle Tennessee (10-8)
South Alabama (10-8)
Western Kentucky (8-10)
Louisiana-Lafayette (7-11)
Louisiana-Monroe (7-11)
Arkansas-Little Rock (7-11)
Troy (6-12)
