We've got two Troy stories in today's Dothan Eagle
You can read THIS story on Danny Collins and his torrid summer in the New England Collegiate Baseball League. The rising junior has already set the league record for single season home runs with 16 (through 38 games so far) in a wooden bat league. It also has some bits about Logan Pierce and signee Austin Sullivan, a pitcher.
HERE is a longer feature on golfer Tolver Dozier, who just finished his freshman year at Troy and graduated from Dothan High School.
***Of note, I will be taking a few days off before football gets cranking and will be back on Monday. Troy had a big prospect camp, hosting about 200 players, and may well get a commitment or two before the weekend. If so, I'll follow up on it when I get back.
