Newscast failures compounded for cable customers in part of the Tri-State by audio issues
On Saturday night, production issues (which are believed to have been caused by an equipment failure) knocked Eyewitness News at 9 off of Local 7 WTVW, although the 10 p.m. newscast on WEHT Local went on as scheduled.
And it's happened again tonight. The 6:30 portion of this evening's newscast on WTVW just couldn't go on.
Both WTVW and WEHT Local are scheduled to be switching their news production to HD this week. Let's hope they don't have the same troubles after the change that they've been experiencing this weekend!
IN OTHER NEWS FROM MARYWOOD DRIVE, THE SOUND ISN'T RIGHT: Comcast customers in Muhlenberg County, Ky. have been telling me (and the station, too) that they're having trouble with low audio on WEHT Local. I'm going to be in contact with Comcast on Monday morning and hope to have some answers for you from the cable company's end.
