WKCM translator move, power increase proposed

WAY Media has applied to the FCC for permission to move an FM translator which now broadcasts one of The Cromwell Group's AM radio stations.

If the Commission gives the OK, WAY's W267BM-101.3 FM, which simulcasts country WKCM-1160 AM, would be relocated from its current location in Breckinridge County, Ky. to the WTCJ tower near Cannelton, Ind.  As part of the move, the station's city of license would change from Tell City to Hawesville.  (WKCM is also licensed to the Hancock County seat.)

The move is to be accompanied by a substantial power increase, from the current 99 watts to 250, the maximum allowed for FM translators.
