CBS Sports Radio unleashes weekend lineup

New network's lineup features personalities from CBS and Cumulus

CBS Sports Radio launched this past week, offering around-the-clock national sports coverage and programming and harnessing the power and resources of CBS Radio and the award-winning CBS Sports. High-profile personalities including Tiki Barber, John Feinstein, Scott Ferrall, Doug Gottlieb, and Jim Rome, among others from CBS Sports, CBS Sports Network and CBSSports.com play a prominent role on CBS Sports Radio which reaches in excess of 10 million listeners nationwide on more than 100 affiliate stations.

This weekend, CBS Sports Radio announced its comprehensive weekend lineup featuring an array of personalities from the radio network, as well as CBS Radio and Cumulus stations across the country.  All shows are broadcast live from either CBS Sports Radio’s New York City studio in Tribeca or the station indicated below.

“We’ve put together a tremendous lineup of experienced hosts from some of the most well-regarded sports stations,” said Eric Spitz, Director, Programming, CBS Sports Radio.  “Weekends are where the action is in the sports world and CBS Sports Radio will provide our listeners with cutting edge analysis, high profile interviews and late breaking news.”

5-9 a.m. CT – Marc Malusis (WFAN-AM/FM New York)
9 a.m.-1 p.m. CT – Brandon Tierney (CBS Sports Radio)
1-5 p.m. CT – Gregg Giannotti (KDKA-FM Pittsburgh)
5-9 p.m. CT – Jody McDonald (WIP-FM Philadelphia and WFAN)
9 p.m.-1 a.m. Sunday – Adam The Bull (WKRK-FM Cleveland)

Sunday
1-5 a.m. CT – Amy Lawrence
5-9 a.m. CT – John Kincade (WCNN-AM Atlanta)
9 a.m.-1 p.m. CT – Vinny Cerrato / Rob Long (WJZ-FM Baltimore)
1-5 p.m. CT – Jody McDonald / Kris Jenkins (former NFL player, and sports analyst)
5-9 p.m. CT – Josh Innes and Ted Johnson (KILT-AM Houston)
9 p.m.-1 a.m. Monday – Amy Lawrence
CBS Sports Radio’s original programs feature expert sports commentary and interviews with major sports figures along with listener calls and fan interaction.
