Super Bowl Update

Did a short video interview with freshman offensive lineman Luke Lawrence when he came in for Reporting Day. Tomorrow's practice story focuses on how important it was for the freshmen to be here in summer getting adjusted to college before the fall camp grind starts. Lawrence was one of Troy's higher-rated recruits and most signees from a top-notch 6A school like Hillcrest-Tuscaloosa was usually pan out. Lawrence will play left guard and if he can work his way into the rotation this year, he'd have a chance to be a three-year starter after senior Kyle Wilborn graduates.
