Between them, WEHT Local and Local 7 WTVW were supposed to air three NFL preseason games as a cap to the stations' exhibition game coverage last night. Two of those games actually aired - the Rams/Ravens game on WEHT and the Colts/Bengals game on WTVW.
The third - the tape-delayed Titans/Saints game - couldn't be shown.
I'm told that an equipment problem caused the recording of that game to stop about halfway through, and instead of putting an incomplete broadcast on air, the station reverted to other programming.
It's disappointing that equipment issues are still happening on Marywood Drive, but hopefully they've discovered the source of this particular problem and fixed it.
