Move to keep program means station will air just one hour of On Point each day
Late last month, I told you about some changes coming to WNIN-FM's program lineup later this month. That's still happening, but there's been some fine-tuning going into the "next-gen WNIN" schedule to tell you about this afternoon.
Fresh Air - which had been expected to leave the station's schedule - will now remain, I'm told, airing at noon CT each weekday.
With Fresh Air staying, that means that one of the previously-announced new shows is getting a trim. Instead of airing from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. CT as originally planned, only one hour of On Point with Tom Ashbrook will air from 11 to noon CT.
The Diane Rehm Show, the other of the two new programs, won't change - it's still expected to air from 9 to 11 a.m. CT.
