Saga Communications, the Michigan-based owner of more than 100 radio and TV stations nationwide (including Hopkinsville, Ky.-area stations WVVR-100.3 FM, WEGI-1370 AM, WEGI-94.3 FM, WZZP-97.5 FM and WCVQ-107.9 FM, which can be heard in the southern part of the Tri-State), reported its second quarter earnings this morning.
For the three months ending June 30, the company saw its revenue increase 0.7% to $32.986 million (compared to $32.764 million for 2Q2011). Saga also grew its free cash flow by 7.3% and reduced station operating expenses by 4.6%.
As of June 30, the company's debt stands at $57.8 million.
