Station's afternoon host and PD is in his 40th year in radio
WIKY-104.1 FM afternoon host and program director Mark Elliott has been honored by Radio Ink Magazine as one of its top 15 small-market radio program directors for 2012.
Elliott, who is celebrating his 40th year in radio this year, discussed with the magazine what a well-programmed radio station (which WIKY certainly is) should sound like, and also explained why it's tough to define what kind of station WIKY is because of its long history and what he refers to as its "deep connection" to its listeners.
