If you've been trying to listen to Q102 (WQXQ-101.9 FM, Central City) lately but have been having trouble doing so since its transmitter has been on the fritz, there's a new option for you to do just that.
The station has released a new iPhone app that will let you listen live, read news headlines, see the last 10 songs they played, and even set an alarm. It's available in the iTunes store.
And how about that transmitter? WQXQ's afternoon host and program director Rick Daniels says it's still in need of repairs after being hit by lightning earlier this month. "The [transmitter] is still down, waiting for more parts," he explained. "We are rocking a new Wheatstone [audio] processor though."
