Super Bowl Update

David Shepherd, who is currently the lead political reporter at WEHT Local and Local 7 WTVW, will become the stations' new weekend news co-anchor starting next weekend.

He replaces Lindsay Merwin, who has co-anchored the weekend newscasts with Shalah Sasse for both stations since last December.

The new seat behind the anchor desk is familiar ground for Shepherd, who was WEHT's weekend anchor before the stations folded their operations together late last year.
