UPDATE, 4:30 p.m.: CBS44 WEVV will NOT air the expanded half-hour of the CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley. The station WILL air the special report at 9 p.m. CT which CBS has planned to broadcast.
ABC, CBS and NBC have decided to make adjustments to their programming this evening as Hurricane Sandy makes its way ashore somewhere near Atlantic City, N.J.

All three networks will expand their evening newscasts to one hour tonight. ABC will also extend Nightline to one hour following its affiliates' late newscasts.
