BRIEF: Nexstar to offer $200M in new senior notes

Nexstar Broadcasting has announced plans to offer $200 million in new senior notes.

The company will use the proceeds from the sale of the notes to buy back its outstanding seven percent senior subordinated and senior subordinated PIK notes due in 2014.  Nexstar also plans to refinance a portion of its existing senior secured credit facilities and pay related fees and expenses.

In other news, Nexstar plans to release its third quarter financial results on Tuesday, Nov. 6.
