A back to back solid weekend for Troy, as the Trojans took a series from the Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns. Troy rallied in the 9th to tie it Friday, but lost 9-8 in extra innings. Trojans got a 4-hit complete game from Joe Hernandez in Saturday's 8-1 win and Troy scored 3 in the ninth, taking the lead on a 2-run single from Tyler Vaughn, to win 10-8 on Sunday.
I don't know how other Sun Belt pitchers threw, but I'd guess Hernandez has a great chance to win his second SBC Pitcher of the Week award. Hernandez was brought in to be a middle/late innings relief pitcher, but has had some bright moments as a weekend starter after being thrown in the fire midway through the season.

Troy is off this week but hosts UL-Monroe next weekend. Here are the Sun Belt standings, and the top 8 of 10 go to the conference tournament in Bowling Green, Ky.

Teams 7-9 are in a three-way tie, but WKU owns series wins over UALR and Troy, and UALR owns the series win over Troy.
