Gas rationing--the odd-even license plate system that was put into effect in New York City on Friday, November 9th--has been extended until Friday, November 23rd, the day after Thanksgiving. Thirty percent of the gas stations in New York City are still closed.
The system explained:
Drivers of vehicles with license plates ending in an even number or ‘zero’ can buy gas on even-numbered days.
