The FCC has approved the recent application from Vincennes-based The Original Company to improve the signal and reach of WAOV-1450 AM's FM translator, W230BQ-93.9 FM (Bruceville).
While 93.9's effective radiated power will decrease from 250 to 50 watts, by raising the station's antenna from the 39-foot level to 324.8 feet above the ground, it's expected that the modified station will put a better signal into the city of Vincennes itself.
WAOV began broadcasting on 93.9 nearly two years ago.
