Super Bowl Update

Got to write THIS STORY on Troy senior forward Steven Cunningham (pictured above, Troy U. photo). It is a little long.

Cunningham is from Dothan and played at small Northside Methodist Academy. This is about his road to get to where he is, a scholarship senior now for the Trojans.

**A couple of prep football hires in our area, one being Mike Dean at Charles Henderson. I met Dean about five years ago at a Daleville football game. Boy, the guy can really coach. Then again, he's been at two other schools since then. So, if he actually stays in Troy for a while, I think he'll do some pretty big things.

**At 11 a.m. is the All-Sun Belt preseason baseball team and order of finish. I'll get it posted on the blog about then.

**Should have another baseball blog post about 1 p.m. or so. Troy has three scrimmages this weekend. When I talked to coach Bobby Pierce earlier this week, they were set for around 4 p.m. today, noon Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday, though those times could of course change.
