Troy played well enough defensively, but wasn't big enough and couldn't get many good shots off against Middle Tennessee, and couldn't hit most of the ones they did.
In turn, that's a 63-53 loss, and 0-3 in Sun Belt play in a tough 3-game start. Troy is back on the road at Western Kentucky on Saturday.

In case you missed the blog entry on the signees the other day, HERE is what ran in today's paper about Troy football.
Troy's Saturday opponent, Western Kentucky, had a tough loss, as UL-Lafayette beat the Hilltoppers in overtime.
ULL HAD SIX MEN on the court for the game-winning shot, for 20 seconds, and not one referee saw it.
