What was once one is now the other, and vice-versa
The Evansville Low Power Partnership's two Me-TV affiliated stations have switched call signs - again.
WTSN-CD, which was on Channel 36, is now on Channel 20, and WYYW-CD, which was on channel 20, will return to the air on Channel 15 (as I had previously reported would be the case with WTSN).
The switch, which was made official by the FCC on Wednesday, isn't the first for the two stations: They also played switcheroo on Channels 36 and 41 back in 2009 before WYYW got its current call sign.
It's still not known when what is now WYYW-CD will be ready on Channel 15. They're waiting for the tower company to move the antenna at the transmitter site in Warrick County. When it's all done, WYYW will match WTSN's 15 kW effective radiated power and coverage area.
