Fox Sports Radio has given actor and comedian Jay Mohr the nod to host the network's midday show, replacing Jim Rome, who is moving over to CBS Sports.
Mohr's show ― to be named Jay Mohr Sports ― is set to debut Jan. 2 and will air from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. CT each weekday. In the Tri-State, the show will air on Fox Sports Radio affiliates WVLN-740 AM in Olney and WMSK-1550 AM in Morganfield.
"After spending the last 15 years guest-hosting, I couldn’t be happier to get the opportunity to host my own show!" Mohr said in a statement. "I’m looking forward to talking sports, connecting with listeners, and interviewing amazing guests every day, while being a part of the Fox Sports Radio family. It was worth the wait."
