Show expands to full hour, will feature 11 area high school choirs

WEVV has announced that it will broadcast the fifth annual edition of High School Holidays, its annual Christmas program featuring area high school choirs.
WEVV has announced that it will broadcast the fifth annual edition of High School Holidays, its annual Christmas program featuring area high school choirs.
For the first time, this year's show will expand to a full hour and will include 11 choirs from Henderson County, Memorial, Central, Bosse, Reitz, Evansville Day School, Princeton, Apollo, Daviess County, Fairfield and Mt. Carmel high schools. They will be singing a variety of Christmas songs from traditional to contemporary.
“We are very excited to showcase the talents of our area high school choirs, and bring the sounds of the season to the Tri-State,” said WEVV general manager Tim Black. “This program has become a tradition for us at WEVV, and it continues to grow each year. We continue to be proud to be the first station in the Tri-State to air locally produced programming in high-definition.”
Presented by Methodist Hospital in Henderson, High School Holidays will air in high definition on the following days and times:
Dec. 22 – 6 p.m. CT (7 Eastern) on Fox44
Christmas Eve – 11:30 p.m. CT (12:30 a.m. Eastern) on CBS44 and Fox44
Christmas Day – 6 a.m. CT (7 Eastern) on CBS44 and Fox44
