Salem Communications has announced that regional VP Mike Moran will take over the oversight of its Louisville stations, news/talk WGTK-970 AM and Christian talk WFIA-900 AM and 94.7 FM, beginning Jan. 1.
Moran's promotion in Louisville comes as part of a realignment for several of Salem's major market operations.
In New York, VP and director of Salem's Spoken Word format, Phil Boyce, will continue in that role with the additional responsibility of operational VP for the New York cluster of AM 970 the Answer and Christian Talk WMCA. Regional VP Linnae Young, who has overseen the New York cluster, will take on the oversight of the Tampa, Fla. cluster, including NewsTalk WGUL, Christian Talk WTBN, and NewsTalk WLSS Sarasota.
Salem also promoted John Butler, who will become the company's digital program director - Spoken Word format, and John Bowen, who is to be the company's digital PD for its Music format.
Those changes are also effective Jan. 1.
