Katie Couric's self-titled new show is set to debut in a little less than two months - Sept. 10, to be precise - but it appears that the program will not be available in the immediate Evansville TV market.
Using the channel finder on the show's website, no Evansville stations are listed. Of course, with nearly 60 days to go, it's entirely possible that the show could get picked up ... maybe.
Several surrounding area stations are listed, however, including:
- WAWV-ABC (ch. 38.1), Terre Haute
- WHAS11 (ch. 11.1), Louisville
- WSIL-3 (chs. 3.1 and 3.2), Harrisburg
- WNKY-CBS (ch. 40.2), Bowling Green
- WSMV-4 (ch. 4.1), Nashville
- KMOV-4 (ch. 4.1), St. Louis
So if you live in an area where you can get one or more of these, you'll be able to see what Katie's show is all about. As for the rest of us, evidently we'll have to wait and see.
