Tough season getting a little worse for the Trojans, who were swept by FIU. FIU took the Sunday game 4-2 and Saturday game 5-3 after Troy had a lead.

Troy has lost six straight and the Trojans are 13-18, 3-9 in Sun Belt play. Logan Pierce had his 20-game hit streak snapped Sunday, though he leads Troy hitting .386.
Troy hosts Jacksonville State on Tuesday and Middle Tennessee next weekend.
***Also of note, the Sun Belt announced a teleconference for 3 p.m. CST on Monday regarding the future of the conference. My guess is that it's to officially announce the addition of Georgia State. I'll listen and update if that's said and if anything else interesting is said.
