Troy led 3-1 going to the 8th, but UAB scored three runs in that inning and took a 4-3 win. UAB swept the season series from the Trojans (13-15).
Defense and a wild pitch hurt the Trojans in the eighth, as they committed two errors. Logan Pierce did extend his hit streak to 18 games and he is hitting .408 this season.
