From Troy University
TROY, Ala. – Troy and Ole Miss will meet in Vaught-Hemingway Stadium on Nov. 16, 2013, both schools announced on Monday. It will be the first-ever meeting between the Trojans and Rebels.
The one-game series with Ole Miss is Troy’s third non-conference game on the books for the 2013 season. Troy opens the season at home against UAB on Aug. 31. The Trojans will make a return trip to Mississippi State on Sept. 21 after the Bulldogs come to Veterans Memorial Stadium on Sept. 15 this upcoming season.

***That leaves Troy with one more non-conference game for 2013. The hope is that it's a home game and it would probably be an FCS school, but that's to be determined.

This is not football-related, but wanted to mention it on the blog as I did so on the twitter feed. You can find out about basketball season ticket information for the upcoming season in the new Trojan Arena by going HERE.
Troy opens against Mississippi State the day before the Navy football game. MSU is going through all kinds of chaos in its basketball program. Just read this report in the Clarion-Ledger to find out more HERE.
