Super Bowl Update

Belo Corp. has named Linda Danna president and general manager of WHAS11, Louisville's ABC affiliate. 

Danna, who has spent the past four years as vice-president and GM of High Plains Broadcasting-owned KGPE, the CBS affiliate in Fresno, Calif., will take over at the station on Oct. 15.

She succeeds Mark Pimentel, who left the station in June to become general manager of St. Louis CBS affiliate KMOV-4, which is also owned by Belo.
