Troy senior safety Brynden Trawick was named to the Thorpe Award Watch List on Friday. Trawick was just one of 35 players from the list. Only two come from the Sun Belt - Trawick and FIU defensive back Jonathan Cyprien.
Trawick had a Sun Belt-leading 123 tackles last year. The Thorpe Award is presented to the best defensive back.
