Former Trojan first baseman Clint Robinson, who had 4 at-bats with the Kansas City Royals earlier this year, was selected to the Class AAA All-Star game for the second straight year. Robinson is hitting .312 with 10 HR and 48 RBIs for the Omaha Storm Chasers.
Also, from the Anniston Star, HERE is a good story on former Troy 3B/P Chase Whitley, who is rapidly rising through the New York Yankees system and is in AAA right now. He played one year for Troy, in 2010, before getting drafted and signing professionally.
