Once again, the National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory for New York City. This one is for Wednesday, July 4th, from noon to 8:00 p.m. and Thursday, July 5th (time unspecified). The heat index is expected to be at least 95 degrees on those two days, so air-conditioned cooling centers in all of the boroughs will be open.
