If you heard about the Elba High School vandalism prank gone wrong, well one of the arrested parties was Troy signee Michael Lindsey, the Dothan Eagle Player of the Year last year.
I did briefly speak with head coach Larry Blakeney to send it on to our news side. The news side in our office is handling the entire story, but I had to contribute with this bit.
The charges are felony third-degree burglary.
Blakeney said he was fully aware of the incident and supports Lindsey as it's innocent until proven guilty.
"I have talked to (Lindsey) and I have talked to his coach," Blakeney said. "I support the kid."

Troy signee Lindsey arrested
Elba police have arrested four 18-year-old students on felony burglary charges, including a star player for the school’s football team, for their alleged involvement in the burglary of Elba High School.
According to officials at the Coffee County Jail, four 18-year-olds were booked into the jail within the last two days, including Michael Kendez Canta Lindsey, Antonio Derace Hill, Jquente Kareece Truitt and Sage O’Kendel Kelley.
Coffee County Jail Corrections Cpl. Lynn Davis said all four of them were released from custody after posting $2,500 bail on the single felony third-degree burglary charges filed against them.
Lindsey won the Dothan Eagle Super 12 Player of the Year award, and earned a scholarship to attend and play football at Troy University.
Elba Police Lt. Robert La Voie said an estimated $30,000 damage was caused during the burglary at the high school earlier this week, leading school officials to close the school on Tuesday.
