Super Bowl Update

Got to write THIS STORY on Troy junior pitcher Thomas Austin. Coach Bobby Pierce couldn't say enough good things about Austin and how much his versatility means to the pitching staff. Austin is normally going to be a reliever - though, you never know if he'll be called on in the third inning or sixth inning. Later this year, he could make a spot start.

Troy hosts Monmouth this weekend, Friday and Saturday at 6 and Sunday at 1. I won't be able to make any of the games but will try to update the results on here. Preview, with audio, live stats and game notes can be found HERE. Updated Troy stats are HERE and Monmouth, which is 4-5, stats are HERE.
