The Office to end after upcoming 9th season
NBC's popular series The Office will end after its upcoming ninth season, according to a report in The Hollywood Reporter.
Greg Daniels, the show's executive producer for its first five seasons, is returning to run the show for its valedictory season, replacing Paul Lieberstein, who's working on a spinoff.
Daniels told reporters it should be a great last go-around. "As we head into the homestretch, we have a lot of exciting things I've been wanting to do since season two," he said. "The end should be pretty cool."
