After Sunday, October 28th, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., don't bring your compost to Compost for Brooklyn. That'll be their last open day for a while as they temporary close for repairs and renovations. While they're closed, bring your compost to Cortelyou Greenmarket on Sundays from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The Cortelyou Greenmarket is on Cortelyou Road between Argyle and Rugby roads. It's open

Compost for Brooklyn's fall schedule for dropping off food scraps is


Sundays, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and

Thursdays, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

It doesn't have open hours on Saturdays during the fall, effective September 1st.
