Suddenlink announced late Thursday night that the company has reached an agreement in principle with News Corp. (Fox) for the continued carriage of Fox's TV stations and cable networks.
In Suddenlink's Tri-State service area, which includes portions of Daviess County, Ind., this means that Speed, Nat Geo, FX, Fox Sports Midwest, Fox Soccer Channel, Fox Movie Channel and Fox College Sports will remain available.
The current agreement between the companies has been extended for another week while the two sides work out the details of the new agreement.
Specific terms of the new deal were not disclosed.
